As a Civil Engineer specializing in HVAC, you will lead and motivate our dedicated team to develop innovative and efficient engineering solutions for our HVAC projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining our commitment to engineering excellence.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of Civil Engineering related to HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, AHUs, roof platforms
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and compliance
- Prepare and review technical reports, designs, and drawings
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project requirements
- Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, and approvals
Proven experience in Civil Engineering, particularly in HVAC project management
Previous experience in Structural Assessment and Design:o Load Calculations: Ensuring that HVAC systems do not compromise the structural integrity of a building. This involves calculating the
loads that HVAC units impose on building structures and designing reinforcements if necessary.
o Support Systems: Designing and evaluating the support systems for HVAC equipment, such as roof-mounted units and central plant,
ensuring they are secure and compliant with structural requirements.
o Comfortable in a leadership role overseeing both office and field operations:
o Highly organized and effective with a professional and welcoming demeanor
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
o Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
o Substantial experience in budget management and ensuring cost-effective project delivery
o Passion for the engineering industry and a customer-first approachAdditional Skills - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil engineering with 5 years of experience preferred.
