Civil Engineer (Traffic Development )

Short term contract opportunity available for Civil Engineer to join a Council in Melbourne's northern suburbs and assist their Traffic Team.

Aspect Personnel are working with a Council in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs to recruit a Traffic Engineer for an initial 1 month contract with potential to extend.
Employed as a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Investigate and respond to traffic engineering, transport planning, parking and road safety requests and provide solutions that are safe, useful and sustainable.
• Consult, communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in providing traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety and parking services to the community.
• Customer service

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications
• Experience working as a Traffic or Transport Engineer preferably within Local Government
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A current drivers license
