The Role
Due to substantial growth, we are seeking a dedicated Claims Assistant to join our team. The Claims Assistant is a necessary role in the end-to-end management of claims, with the key objective to achieve an exceptional customer experience from lodgement of claim to completion of repairs.
In this role, you will receive comprehensive training and be supported to operate autonomously in a flexible work environment.
A Type Day Will Include:
- Liaising with various stakeholders including homeowners, clients, trades and internal team members.
- Manage customer/client enquiries and provide positive and effective solutions.
- Proactive administrative support to our Building Supervisors
- Professional communication / correspondence, including job updates, emails and reports.
- Monitor and update client portals.
- Project coordination of make safes and low $ value repair projects
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for individuals with:
- Required: 3+ years previous experience in office administration and/or customer service environment.
- An understanding of the insurance/building repair industry would be advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously, in a fast-paced environment
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude, and a willingness to contribute to a high-performing team and culture
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
