The Claims Assessor is responsible for managing a portfolio of repair and hire claims, providing exceptional service to customers in a timely manner.
Role & Responsibilites:
- Oversee and end-to-end manage a portfolio of repair and hire car claims
- Proactively respond to inbound client queries professionally and efficiently
- Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including insurance providers and repair shops
- Conduct thorough assessment and investigations of files including completion of rental documentation
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
- Prior experience working in a customer service/claims assessing/administrator role within the insurance and/or financial services industry
- Previous motor claims experience desirable but not a must
- A relevant degree in Economics, Finance & Commerce desirable
- Outstanding verbal & written communication, showcasing resilience and empathy when dealing with complex situatons
- Strong attention to details, problem-solving skills and an investigative mind
