Client Manager

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Client Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention. The Client Manager will be the crucial link between clients and OBA Program Coordinators. Your role involves maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring program readiness, and supporting business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement:
Cultivate professional relationships with schools, organizations, and business partners.
Serve as the primary communication link between clients and OBA, ensuring smooth program execution including program design, logistics and activities.
Onboarding and briefing for teachers, parents and participants prior to commencement of program.
Facilitating post program feedback collection, review and delivery.
2. Business Development:
Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Marketing to build relationships with potential clients.
Manage bookings in the system and maintain current client contact details.
Work closely with the Executive Director, Head of Sales and Marketing and the OBA leadership team on strategic development projects at OBA.
3. Safety and Risk Management:
Prioritize participant safety and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in outdoor education/recreation or related fields.
Knowledge of outdoor education in Australia.
Experience in stakeholder management, sales, and business development.
Digital proficiency with Microsoft suite, Salesforce CRM, and communication platforms.
Unrestricted driver’s license required.
Ability to demonstrate and authentically promote Outward Bounds values and communicate a shared understanding of Outward Bound’s purpose and vision for learning and innovation.

Compliance:
This position requires compliance with Outward Bound’s HR policies, including police and Working with Children checks.
