About the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, as the Client Relationship Manager, you will cultivate key relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical stakeholders. This role is vital for enhancing collaboration and communication within the cancer care ecosystem, ultimately impacting patient outcomes and Australia's position in cancer drug development.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain robust long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry
- Act as the primary communication conduit in delivering accurate and timely information
- Identify and address new opportunities to collaborate and channel feedback internally
- Work with the wider cross functional team to develop a communication plan to drive engagement with industry clinical trial sponsors
- Identify drivers and address barriers to current engagement process with industry sponsors and contribute ideas for improvement
- Organise and conduct educational sessions, workshops, and presentations to enhance awareness
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of oncology, continuously updating your knowledge base to provide accurate and insightful information to stakeholders
Skills and experience:
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field
- Oncology experience, and have excellent knowledge and awareness of latest oncology developments
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information effectively to diverse audiences
- Strong understanding of clinical research and the regulatory landscape
- Commercially savvy and able to build/maintain relationships
- Be a self starter, agile and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
