About the role
We are proud of the team that we have created and have worked hard to be the largest Superannuation and Insurance claims team in Australia. With that being said, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join this great team as a Client Service Specialist.
The role will be varied and you will be well skilled across Pre-Claims to help out the team, whilst providing a superior client interaction by taking incoming calls and assisting our clients as the first point of contact. You will also liaise with funds and insurers to confirm cover and building relationships and working between the Client intake team and investigations. A key part of your role see you contribute to building team engagement by the training of new staff and assisting with coaching, support and development of our people.
Lastly, as a CSS you will also be required to consider cross-referrals between the departments within the Personal Legal Services division. This includes helping clients understand the importance of engaging with other legal services such as those related to estate planning.
This role is initially working full time on a 12-month contract based in our Melbourne office working Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. We offer great flexibility adopting a hybrid was of working between home and the office.
Key Responsibilities
The Pre-Claims team is passionate about helping everyday Australians gain access to their superannuation and other insurance entitlements. Some key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Client management; handling client escalations, managing referrer relationships and investigating entitlements for clients with complex insurance enquiries whilst keeping the client at the centre of your workflow.
Being a key player client journey, ensuring the client experience is positive despite delays or barriers faced by other third parties.
Balancing client needs with current processes and actively listening out to identify any opportunities or potential entitlements.
Training and assisting with the coaching of team members
The experience we are looking for
You will enjoy building and maintaining rapport with clients and providing the best client experience through creative problem solving. While building a relationship with the client, you will use your great investigative skills to assess viability of potential client claims and take a holistic approach to all client enquiries. You will have ownership of your own workload and will need to manage your time effectively to deliver the best possible outcome to the client despite competing demands of the role. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
An outstanding ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service
Previous contact centre experience (an insurance, legal or funds background is beneficial)
A desire to continuously learn and develop in your role
The ability to take ownership of your work
Effective time management skills
