Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Client Service Officer in the financial planning industry. The Client Service Officer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients by managing their inquiries, providing administrative support to financial planners, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and our firm
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
Client Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, including gathering necessary documentation, completing paperwork, and facilitating account setup.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to financial planners, including scheduling client appointments, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining client records accurately and confidentially.
Client Reviews: Coordinate and schedule regular client review meetings, ensuring all necessary documents and reports are prepared in advance.
Financial Transactions: Facilitate financial transactions on behalf of clients, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with financial planners, investment advisors, and other team members to provide comprehensive support to clients and achieve team goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in finance, business administration, or a related field essential.
- Previous experience in client service in the financial services industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in client management software such as Xplan or Compass.
- Knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment products, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
