We are looking for a Client Support and Administration Officer to come join us at The Courageous Space.
We are a multidisciplinary practice welcoming those searching for acceptance, Support and affirmation. Focusing on support within the LGBTIQAP+ and neurodivergent communities, The Courageous Space wishes to foster authentic relationships with patients to breakdown worries and earn trust.
About the role:
- Understand the following systems and practice management software: Medicare, NDIS, Medipass, Powerdiary and Microsoft office.
- High level of interpersonal/communication skills (telephone, email and face-to-face).
- Calm, compassionate and non-judgmental nature.
- Affirming towards gender diverse and neurodiverse people.
- Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a high level of attention to detail.
- High ethical standards regarding confidential data.
- High degree of computer literacy; comfortable using email, practice management systems, and social media.
- High standard of organisational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritise varying types of roles and responsibilities; ability to plan ahead and maintain processes.
- Ability to be flexible, and problem-solve calmly under busy and high-stress situations.
- Confident with intake process and waitlist management.
- Overall upkeep of clinic resources (e.g. regular stocktake and resource management).
This role is casual with a minimum of 2 days/week (7.5 hour days between Monday and Friday) and potential for increased hours. You would work directly under our practice manager and fall within the Health Professionals and Support Services Award (MA000027) Level 3.
