About the Role 

This position is primarily responsible for managing daily clinic operations and overseeing all the associated tasks that are required to be completed.  This position is also responsible for supporting clerical staff to meet performance requirements, implementing changes in processes and procedures as well as the delivery of training and education packages. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual who has outstanding leadership and customer service skills to join the team at Monash Health Specialist Consulting (Outpatients) Dandenong. Our Clinic and Access Coordinators provide strong leadership to our clinic administration team and support services to our clinical teams and their patients. The Specialist Consulting (Outpatients) team is responsible for ensuring the patient experience is second to none.  The patient is treated with respect and dignity while seeking the support and services of Monash Health.   

About You  

You are a proactive, experienced and motivated healthcare administrator and leader who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.  Working in a hospital environment doesn’t faze you and you are able to maintain and demonstrate integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. You have:  

  • A leadership approach to your work responsibilities and enjoy coaching and training others to achieve successful outcomes  

  • Previous experience identify and implementing changes to processes and procedures  

  • Friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills  

  • Proven organisational skills and can work autonomously  

  • Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across a number of areas  

  • A quality focus whilst ensuring work is completed within the required time frames  

  • A flexible approach to staggered start and finish times
