The Clinical Administration Manager Role

The Clinical Administration Manager is responsible to the Manager Client Services, Riverland General Hospital (RGH) for the provision of administrative support and operationally supervising a group of administrative staff including all activities relating to customer service, rostering staff, liaising with external clinicians, management and allocation of daily tasks, ensuring quality data entry and reporting and the collation of all patient activity statistics on a monthly basis.

The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of training and development for new staff, responsible for the day-to-day supervision, support and coordination of RGH Administration departments, Emergency Department, Medical Records, Acute Ward Clerk, Theatre Clerk and casual Administration Officers.

The Riverland General Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in rural South Australia and has been identified as one of the four general hospitals to provide treatment for Country people closer to home. Riverland General Hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services to patients from across the Riverland and surrounding communities including the Mallee.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
