Clinical Care Manager

The Aged Care Manager will create a new team culture, design new clinical procedures to ensure a high standard of quality care is met.

About the facility:
The fully accredited Aged Care facility is based in Launceston, with a leading passionate Aged Care team that are focused on delivering high-quality care.
About the role:
The Clinical Manager will report into the Facility Manager and will help monitor Training and Education, lead the clinical team to meet high clinical standards that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the Clinical Care staff team.
Duties:

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols.
• Show an ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision.
• Interpret work within the relevant policy guidelines
• Understand the needs of older people, in particular those with cognitive decline

Skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Health, Welfare, Nursing or Social Sciences
• Experience in Aged Care accreditation and the clinical standards, dementia and challenging behaviours
• Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams
