Reporting to the Facility Manager you will be responsible for the overall day to day operations and governance for the delivery of clinical and direct client care.
You will be required to have oversight and manage monitoring systems to ensure good clinical governance within the service. This includes:
- Provide Clinical expertise
- Lead and manage clinical and the direct care employees
- Deliver innovative care and services
- Meet client care needs and required outcomes within the facility
- Foster internal and external relationships
- Implement continuous improvement activities
- Ensure the facility meets accreditation requirements at all time
This role is supported locally with Clinical Nurses', Registered nurse coverage 24/7 ensuring the facility fosters and maintains a culture of person centred care.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional clinical leadership to the direct care team
- Promote a culture of service delivery excellence that aims to improve the wellbeing and lifestyle of our clients
- Oversight and monitoring of the delivery or care and lifestyle support ensuring these services are delivered according to identified individuals needs, monitored and evaluated in accordance with Ozcare's Business Rules and Compliance requirements
- Assist in maintaining occupancy of the facility
- ACFI management, monitoring and associated business processes
- Deliver innovative care and service within budgeted parameters
- Liaise with Facility Manager to forward business plan and input to strategic directions.
- Assist to monitor staff performance and skill requirements

Role Requirements
- Tertiary Qualifications in Health Science (Nursing) or Nursing Qualifications
- Formal relevant post graduate qualification in management and/ or business is desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership and management role
- Strong understanding of the aged care industry and the clinical management requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills to ensure ability to use Ozcare's management and clinical systems
- First aid and CPR certificate required within one month of commencement
- Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
