Form of workAccent Home Care is a division of Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) who have been supporting older people for over 50 years.
Accent Home Care has a range of services that extend to Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and private services.
Working with us as a Clinical Home Care Nurse you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide consultation with clinical issues for consumers in the receipt of a Home Care Packages
- Work with a team of care advisors, nurses and allied health to achieve consumer goals
- Provide hands on clinical care for consumers as well as writing supporting clinical documentation and reports
- Assess consumer clinical needs to enable them to remain living in their own home
- Take a leading role in the management of clinical indicators and incidents
- Track, review and analyse trends in clinical care for discussion in clinical meetings
- Work within scope of practice and the Aged Care Quality Standards
You will be successful in the role if you have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Div 1 Registered Nurse
- Ongoing training in clinical nursing including community care
- Demonstrated proven clinical competency with 2 years’ experience
- Clear clinical thinking and ability to accurately deliver quality care
- Previous Community Nursing would be an advantage
A littler more about the role:
- The office is located in Bayswater with the primary hours between Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.06pm
- $15,900 salary packaging per FBT year to significantly reduce your taxable income
