About the role
- Provide advanced level hand therapy occupational therapy consultancy services within the facility for Occupational Therapy.
- Deliver direct clinical services in the outpatient and acute hospital setting at Redcliffe Hospital and provide consultancy across MNHHS.
- Provide Clinical Leadership and strategic oversight of the occupational therapy services in hand therapy services at Redcliffe Hospital to coordinate the delivery of integrated, holistic clinical services and maintain clinical excellence and high standards of care in accordance with professional standards, best practice and evidence.
- There is a requirement to function to a high level within the multidisciplinary team and support the continuum of care through liaison with external hand therapy specialist providers to achieve optimal service delivery.

Knowledge, skills and expertise
Ability to consult, negotiate, advocate, engage, advise and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in written form for the benefit of patients and the team
- Possesses advanced clinical knowledge and skills to independently assess and manage complex and varied presentations within occupational therapy hand therapy setting
- Demonstrated experience in leading, implementing, evaluating and reporting on quality/service improvement activities
- Experience in providing high quality support, supervision and/or mentoring to less experienced clinicians.
