The Clinical Liaison officer works 9am - 5pm across the working week with the opportunity for work life balance with a hybrid work from office/ home model.
You will be supported through the provision of ongoing learning and development opportunities and funded clinical supervision.
We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment, who possesses experience in mental health settings, demonstrates a high level of flexibility and, is able to prioritise competing demands. Candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and data informed practices, ideally within government departments, and, the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of government.
Candidates require proficiency in utilising Government IT Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
The key duties of the position include
- Support the provision of nationally consistent clinical advice to Open Arms staff, demonstrating sound clinical skills to ensure positive client outcomes and effective care coordination service delivery
- Coordinate responses to clinical escalations working with Client Assist and regional teams to prepare written responses to Open Arms senior management.
- Provide high quality and considered written summaries, briefs, reports, and responses to Open Arms senior management.
- Ability to manage workload, ensuring timely commencement, action, and completion of tasks under limited supervision, seeking guidance from the Assistant Director Clinical Liaison as required.
- Liaise with DVA services to support the regions in the management of complex and at-risk clients.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement through monitoring, analysis and feedback of Clinical Liaison pathway data, maintenance of the clinical incident register activities and client outcomes and identification of system issues.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director Clinical Liaison to coordinate triage and provide immediate support to vulnerable veterans and their families.
