The Nursing Services (Rural) Team at the Moranbah Hospital are seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse (Community Health) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Community HealthClinical Nurse provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care, including but not limited to:
- Home visits as required.
- Dressing Clinic.
- Facilitating Telehealth appointments.
- Assisting with Child Health Clinics if required.
- Health Promotion.
- Assisting with School Immunisation and Staff Immunisation Programs.
Provides leadership and support to other nursing/midwifery staff within the Moranbah Community Health Service.
About the Team
The Moranbah Health Service is located in the Isaac Regional Shire in the town of Moranbah, approximately 200km south-west from Mackay, a journey which takes approximately 2½ hours.
The Moranbah Health Service consists of Moranbah Hospital, Community and Allied Health, Mental Health and AODS services and the Glenden Primary Health Care Centre. The Moranbah Hospital has a 12-bed acute inpatient facility and 24/7 emergency service. In addition, specialist outpatients, medical imaging (x-ray and ultrasound), a range of Telehealth services and ambulatory care, including mental health, allied health, community and child health services are provided through these health facilities.
