About the roleMater Private Hospital Brisbane currently has an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to join the team within the Haematology and Oncology ward on a permanent part time basis working 64 hours per fortnight.Salary range: $54.21 - $58.08 (Registered Nurse Level 2) per hour plus superannuation & salary packagingWhat you'll be doingWhilst maintaining the highest level of clinical standards for the unit you will be responsible for:

• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and the continuum of care
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth.
• Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision.

About youTo be considered for this position, you must have:

• Minimum of 4+ years post graduate experience in oncology or haematology
• Leadership and team leader experience
• Post graduate Diploma or higher (desirable)
• Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
• Comprehensive assessment skills
• Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate management and workloads.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement process, coupled with the proven ability to initiate, coordinate and evaluate quality improvement measures.
