Clinical Nurse -
Diabetes Educator working as an integral part of the Community and Allied Health team.As the
Clinical Nurse -
Diabetes Educator, you will use your clinical knowledge and experience to provide nursing services, diabetes education and promote the health needs and issues of communities across the Local Health Network (LHN) in relation to diabetes.In this role you will assist with providing professional high quality client care to improve client health outcomes and continuously reviewing the model of care in conjunction with the wider team for improved systems, practices and management of diabetes within the LHN.
EligibilityApplicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience and having completed or be undertaking
Diabetes Educators Course or be willing to undertake the course.
