About the facility:The 100-bed residential aged care home close to Caboolture, QLD has the passion and support from the local community to exist as a thriving Aged Care facility with the team focused on delivering high-quality care.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of quality care standards, compliance and education programs that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 0630 -1430PM
Duties:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and accreditation standards and processes.
- Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
- Support the Clinical Manager in all operations of the facility
- Assist the aged care home to strive for achieving 100% compliance with Quality standards 100% of the time
- Current Registration as Registered Nurse
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Nursing or Social Sciences
- Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Leadership training included with fantastic support from management
