The Cloud Technology Technical Lead is the Subject Matter Expert of the TAFE SA cloud environment and is responsible for leading and managing the design, planning and evaluation of technically complex programs and services which ensure the technical delivery of TAFE SA’s cloud offering and the quality of the solutions operating within it. This role will take ownership of the technical development and skill levels of the staff within the Transformation and Applications team and take ownership of the staged delivery of a cloud platform roadmap. This role maintains accountability for the technical stability of TAFE SA’s cloud environment as well as the quality of solutions that are created and operate within it, ensuring configuration and operation within established KPIs and the identification, mitigation and management of risk.To be successful you will need:
- Extensive level 2/3 technical support experience and significant experience in system administration and ICT service delivery in the following environments: VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Linux.
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and significant experience in, the management and administration of an Office 365 environment including Licensing, Exchange, Power Apps/Dynamics CRM environments, Bookings, Stream, Teams, and the use of PowerShell for troubleshooting and automation.
- Significant experience in Active Directory Domain Management and Azure technologies such as Azure AD, AD Connect, App Registrations, Application Proxy, conditional access policies and in Hybrid Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Backup, Veeam Backup and Replication.
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- This role’s location is currently Site Specific, which may change due to the business needs of the role and the business needs of TAFE SA
- Some out of hours work may be required
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required
