Form of workRecruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a CNC Machine Operator for our Manufacturing/Engineering client based in Ipswich.
This role is ongoing, working a 38-hour week Monday to Friday between the hours of 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. This role commences as an ongoing casual position for 3 months, with a potential permanent position to be offered after this time.
The operator will join a ream running out clients 2 x CNC Router Machines. These machines process both Aluminium Extrusion and Sheet, as well as Steel Channel & RHS. The parts are then supplied to the sub-assembly departments for fabrication.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Load CNC programs.
- Monitor machines for cut quality.
- Load and unload materials.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Update progress on production status board and spreadsheet.
- Manage waste recycling.
- Identify and label parts produced.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Forklift licence.
- A great attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn
