Successful Engineering company based in the South East suburbs, specialising in the manufacturing of various precision components for various industries needs a CNC Machinist All-Rounder.
This company been in business for over 50 years and have long term staff. The business has expanded over the last few years and staff seem to stay put.
Due to to further expansion another trades person is needed. This is a new position that will involve various tasks.
Your role will be to operate and set CNC Machines, Lathes and/or Horizontal Machining Centre with Fanuc controls manufacturing low volume components to high quality standards. Skills in programming would be an advantage.
We are looking for a trades person that likes variety and has the flexibility with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade Qualifications
- Fanuc controls experience
- Lathe or Horizontal Machine Centre skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Programming skills and advantage
