Braeside-based precision engineering business specialising in low-volume production machining of medical, defence and aerospace parts, needs a CNC lathe tradesperson.

• This is an excellent company to work for; they have been around for over 40 years and are known for producing outstanding work and treating staff with respect.

• They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic machinist with turning skills to work on their Nexus and Mazak machines.

• CAM systems such as Mastercam are used for tool-pathing for complex parts on multiaxis machines.

• Reporting to the workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for small runs between 10-50 components and runs 1000-2000 on average.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications.
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Mastercam exp
• Mazak Quick Turn / Nexus experience
• Mazatrol experience
