An opportunity exists for a temporary Senior Flexible Learning (Coach) position to lead our Futures Program. This program is an integral aspect of our school approach to supporting identified students to successfully engage in learning. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong capacity to lead collaboratively, building on strong foundations to further develop and sustain high-quality teams dedicated to enhancing student success. • Lead and coordinate Deception Bay State High School's Senior Flexible Learning Program, FUTURES.
• Coach Youth Support Coordinator and teacher aides in the delivery of positive education strategies, that target the improvement of student attendance, engagement, behaviour and achievement.
• Lead weekly meetings with Senior Flexible Learning Staff.
• Monitor and manage Senior Flexible Learning behaviour, engagement and attendance.
• Case Manage successful Pathways for students in the program.
