With balanced diversity of location, you will operate out in the field predominately within Brisbane, bit of Gold Coast and from time to time at our home base warehouse in Virginia. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday with no weekends 🎉 Will offer flexibility on hours for the right candidate.
The Role: Out in the field
- Visiting existing clients on a rotational weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis to carry out preventative maintenance work on mainly automated “bean to cup” Coffee Equipment with the moderate traditional machines & grinders thrown in.
- Whilst on site ensuring our clients are carrying out correct daily & weekly maintenance procedures to ensure their machines are operating efficiently
- Educating clients into best preventative maintenance practices to ensure optimum performance of their Coffee Equipment. Also ensuring they are using correct cleaning products etc
- Fixing any issues with our Coffee Equipment that does not require an electrical license. This largely focuses around issues involving milk temperature, blocked pipes, brewing unit issues etc. Our qualified technicians take care of the bigger problems (career progression to a restricted license a real possibility if you are keen but it is not essential)
- Delivering & installing our range of “tabletop” automated coffee machines into a multitude of corporate outlets (offices) and occasional foodservice businesses (many machines are not mains water connected so no plumbing. Just sit in the bench, program, and go)
- Supporting Technicians on traditional Coffee Equipment installation and parameter setting
- When required, (and if it can be combined with your rotational visit) delivering fresh coffee and consumables to the same clients
- Providing support to the sales team which would include carrying out pre installation site visits and at times performing demonstrations on the equipment
- Assisting general business duties in both technical and non-technical related matters (AKA Team player vibes)
The Role: In the workshop
- Preparing machines for future installs
- In conjunction with our service technician maintaining a tidy workshop and keeping an accurate part and cleaning consumable inventory (Brisbane workshop and your van)
- Supporting our customers with technical enquiries and diagnostics via phone
- Identification and dispatch of spare parts in collaboration with our warehouse team.
Looking forward
- Opportunity to develop skills and transition to more complex diagnostic faults. The successful candidate can potentially progress to obtain further qualifications within this line of work. Such as their restricted electrical license. This is not essential however an opportunity should you wish to proceed down this path.
- Manual handling is a significant part of this position, and candidates must be comfortable with the role's physical demands, light lifting, and responsible manual handling with the use of aids.
Drivers License required as company car will be provided.
Qualification's:
We can teach you everything you need to know! However, strength in leaving no stone unturned, a love for coffee, of course experience working within a similar environment in coffee and small/ medium electrical appliance diagnostic skills experience will do you no harm.
