The Company
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven Collections Officer to join a well established national utilities company. This is a great opportunity to be part of an organisation that is invested in your professional development and growth.
What does the role entail?
Reporting to the Credit and Collections Manager you will be required to optimise cash flow and control debt through negotiating payment plans and resolving customer disputes.
Other duties include:
- Respond to external and internal customer enquiries
- Provide a high level of Customer Service
- Negotiate and solve problems to advance business cash flow
- Manage the dialer to resolve account management and payment issues
- Remain compliant throughout activities
- Maintain collection processes
- Resolve and identify disputes whilst advancing revenue opportunities
What experience is required?
- Proven experience working in a customer service position in a fast paced environment
- A motivated individual who can work with KPIs and meet targets
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Intermediate computer skills (especially MS Excel)
- Maintain a high level of professionalism
- Resilient, confident and a positive attitude
