Australian fintech company is looking for a Collections Specialist to join their finance team. This crucial role will be providing collections support to the business to reduce bad debt.
Key Accountabilities:
- High volume collections (commercial asset finance)
- Resolve customer disputes whilst adhering to the company’s policies and procedures, legislation, and relevant laws
- Negotiate and implement payment arrangements
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Reporting and aged trial balance analysis
About you:
- 1+ years experience in a collections and recoveries environment (preferably mercantile/asset finance background)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated negotiation and decision-making skills
- Time management and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Sound knowledge of industry codes of conduct and legislation
