Pricing & Product Management
- Reporting and collaborating closely with the National Sales Manager.
- Products and services price custodianship.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and implement pricing strategies in line with product marketing plans.
- Review, inform and execute pricing strategies for product and service portfolio to achieve key financial targets.
- Lead Price modelling for tenders, RFP and RFQ processes.
- Be a key contributor to the implementation of a new CPQ system (VENDAVO).
- Review customer pricing & margins for key accounts to ensure profitability.
- Provide insights and recommendations for low margin accounts.
- Provide pricing content for all tenders and major customer proposals.
- Working with R&D and Marketing to develop & manage the product price positioning roadmap, from development to commercialization.
- Fully executed new production commercialisation plans.
You will be strong at numerical reasoning, and you are probably a “Numbers Junkie”. You will possess a hands-on attitude, ability to interpret complex data, and provide actionable insights for the company's decision-making processes. Excellent multitasking, coordination, and communication skills whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and complete tasks efficiently. The positive attitude and willingness to complete tasks with efficiency and effectiveness will set the candidate apart from the competition.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Accounting or Commerce (preferred).
- Approximately 10 years' experience in a commercial role, preferably within the resources sector or similar.
- Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn & grow with the new implementation of the new CPQ system.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer Service Orientation.
