Hastings Deering is seeking a Commercial Analyst to focus on our Aftermarket and Technology solutions area. This is a permanent Monday to Friday role.
As a Commercial Analyst you will:
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on financial performance.
- Analyse large datasets to extract insights and support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain commercial and financial models and analysis that delivers value-add insight into business drivers, linking actual and planned performance.
- Assist in the development of business strategies based on financial and market analysis.
- Analyse sales data to understand revenue trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Evaluate product performance and profitability.
- Support Services Growth programs to achieve market performance.
- Support Aftermarket and Technology solutions team through generating and maintaining key business reports.
- Support the preparation, evaluation and presentation of business planning tools including budgets and forecasts.
- General Business analytics support to Aftermarket solutions team.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Proven experience building and maintaining complex commercial and financial models
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI) is preferred.
