This Queensland law firm has an outstanding reputation in the local market. With strengths across litigation, property and corporate/commercial, as part of the firm's growth strategy a new opportunity has been created for an Associate / Senior Associate to further develop the firm's commercial practice offering.
About the role:
As part of the firm's strategic growth a key Associate or Senior Associate role has been identified in the property or commercial space. You will play a critical part in the firm's success working closely with the Partners across:

• managing the commercial and property law elements of existing key relationships;
• work typically will include commercial and contract advice, business sale / acquisition work; leasing advice and some property work;
• loan and security documentation review and advice, asset protection and structuring advice;
• capitalising on currently uncaptured fees; and
• developing and growing the firm's commercial and property offering by further building a team and ensuring excellent client outcomes.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will:

• be at Associate or ideally Senior Associate level in commercial or property law;
• have strong client relationship and business development skills;
• while a portable practice is not a must have, candidates who have some practice will be highly regarded;
• have excellent abilities to mentor, guide and develop lawyers below you; and
• be a cultural alignment with the firm - down to earth, approachable, friendly and with a strong client care focus to your work.
