Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and alternative dispute resolution.
- Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters, ensuring comprehensive and considered counsel.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents for various legal cases, including Wills & Estates, commercial, civil litigation, and more.
- Collaborate with other lawyers and support staff to ensure timely and effective delivery of legal services.
- Assist clients with estate planning & estate administration matters including advising high net worth individuals.
- Undertake property matters from simple conveyancing through to advice for developers & acting in complex transactions and disputes
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients, seeking favourable resolutions.
- Relevant legal qualifications and a current Victorian practicing certificate or ability to obtain the same.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
