The Role:
There is now the vacancy for a Commercial Manager NSW, to cover the key southern region of NSW. Reporting to the NSW State Manager (supporting you as needed), you will be driving the commercial activities within the territory to achieve targets of sales turnover, market share, profitability, product mix, and professionalism.
Using you background in agronomy and Crop Protection, this involves building good customer relationships with rural resellers and distributors through proactive sales and marketing activities. There is an existing strong customer base in this large and productive territory who are very supportive of the product range. Mainly broadacre and cotton focused, there is the opportunity to grow the horticultural segment.
There is travel throughout the territory, dependant on seasonal activities.
Skills And Attributes:
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Ideally 5 years experience in sales or marketing, within the agricultural sector
- Background in agronomy/ farming and knowledge of Crop Protection products
- Relationship building and account management skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills in a commercial environment
- Appropriate university degree is preferred
- Agsafe accreditation
