About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the central point of contact for tender / bid requests for the sales and operations team
- Writing, editing, review and management of bid content
- Developing innovative solutions and dynamic responses to service based bids
- Keeping abreast of all trends in the area of pitching and tender responses
- Manage analysis of RFP/bid requirements against proposal outlines to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to customer issues and needs.
- Develop highly effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders at a global and regional level and externally with regulators, employee groups and trade unions.
- Support the regional sales manager and collaborate with associated teams to ensure content describing of organizational products and services is professional and within customer defined timeframes.
- Conduct user requirement analysis and maintain an in-depth knowledge of products/services to the organization.
- Manage the internal bid processes required for opportunities.
- Assume ownership for development of focused proposal language relating to client expectations and other critical components.
- Responsible for the administration of current customer contracts as assigned.
- Ensure all bid responses meet approval authorities.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- Relevant qualifications with a strong academic track record is ideal
- Strong knowledge in the Government helicopter or Resources industry is ideal.
- A current technical writer with a proven track record of creating effective, clear, and concise documentation.
