We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our growing local team. The role will see you managing a mix of office, retail and industrial properties located predominantly in the Townsville area. The role will allow you to work autonomously with support from your Department Manager and administration team.
About the Role:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of properties within a portfolio.
- Facilitate building maintenance as required.
- Arrears Management.
- Oversee tenant charges and rent reviews.
- Arranging and attending routine inspections.
- Ensuring compliance with tenant leases, regulatory items and management contracts.
- Establishing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure service excellence is delivered.
- Annual budget preparation and reconciliations.
- Approve purchase orders and invoices.
- Reviewing and negotiating leases and service contracts.
About You:
- At least 2 years property management experience.
- Residential Property Managers are encouraged to apply.
- Current Queensland Real Estate Certificate.
- Experience with industry specific software - desirable.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate initiative to problem solve and provide timely solutions.
- Ability to cooperate and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Drivers License.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
