Job DescriptionA Commis Chef role where you will receive training, support and development from chefs with worldwide experience, but local passion. All of the kitchen roles at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster will be consultative in an environment that encourages team engagement. Furthermore, you will get experience across three different kitchens with multiple cuisines.
Qualifications- The possession of recognised culinary training and employment experience;
- A commercial cookery certification and preferably, you will have obtained safe food handling certificate or food safety supervisor;
- Someone who has ambition, raw talent, and a passion for food;
- Being open to feedback and willing to experiment with new ideas is a big plus;
- Thriving in a fast-paced team environment is key;
- The ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner and
- Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
