We’re searching for Bakers and Pastry Chefs to join our team, as we continue to achieve our dream of building a community centred around a love of artisanal sourdough croissants, pastries and bread. ● Qualified bakers that are experienced in baking pastry products; and
● Qualified Pastry Chefs that are experienced in baking.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
● 8 hour shift
● 7 day roster, 5 day on 2 day off
● Working Hours between 3am - 6pm
● Weekend availability
Attributes Required:
● A minimum of two (2) years experience post qualification is essential with
bakery experience / production kitchen experience.
● Dedicated team players with a passion for sweet and savoury artisan baking techniques.
● A sharp eye for detail, a passion for croissants and a desire to create and
produce products of the best standard.
● Reliable and committed to your role, punctual, well-presented showing
initiative and high motivation.
● Clear understanding of proper and safe operation of bakery equipment and
utensils, HACCP and WHS.
● Ability to work under pressure.
● Ability to work with others, share knowledge and communicate effectively.
Desired Skills:
- Choux production
- Macaron production
- Basic creams, curds and fillings
- Baking and proofing croissants
- Natural fermentation and yeasted doughs
- Laminated doughs
To be eligible for this position you will need evidence of one of the following:
• Australian (AQF issued) Trade/ Proficiency Certificate III in Retail Baking,
Patisserie, Cake & Pastry, or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship within Australia.
