The Role 

Woodlands Golf Club is looking to engage a full time Commis Chef/ Chef de Partie to join our friendly and dedicated team.  Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, working along with our highly motived kitchen team, making a positive contribution to the Club. 

The role requires flexibility to work evenings as well as weekends. 

Key responsibilities include: 

Prepare and serve food daily for members & guests. 

Follow directions provided by the Head Chef and Sous Chef 

Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service. 

Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards 

Keeping your area in the kitchen safe and sanitary 

Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning equipment. 

Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required 

About You  

The successful candidate will have the following skills and background: 

Trade qualified with a solid understanding of food safety standards and personal presentation. 

Experience in A la Carte, events and high-volume kitchens 

Knowledge and interest in produce and current food trends 

Able to work well under pressure. 

Working rights in Australia
