The Rogue Squire is a modern contemporary beer dining hall that boasts views of the Yarra Ranges creating the perfect backdrop for a great communal food and beverage experience with friends. Our passion begins with James Squires Craft Beer range and extends to the provenance of local artisan Australian food and beverage produce, from native foods to local wines and spirits

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Commis Chef at the Rouge Squire
What you'll do:

• Assist the senior chefs in preparing a variety of meals according to menu and orders
• Work efficiently to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests.
• Comply with safety and health policies, procedure and role responsibilities as defined in the Safety and Health Responsibilities and Accountabilities procedure
• Setup and cleaning of kitchen

What you'll need:

• Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
• Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
• An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Trade cooking qualifications are essential
• Flexible availability
