Commodity Trading Manager - Dairy
- Ensure continuity and value across the ecosystem in both Australia and New Zealand.Work collaboratively across key stakeholder groups (WFCR,Commercial, Wholesale, Export & wider ecosystem) to deliver to the Own Brand sourcing strategy and broader strategic initiatives.

- Trading of key commodities primarily Milk, Cheese, Butter, Cream and Milk powders maintain and build relationships with suppliers and end users (complete responsibility along the supply chain)
- Negotiate contracts and correctly execute and monitor existing contracts and obligations
- Maintain the Responsible Sourcing commitments for the Group
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in either soft Commodity Trading or FMCG Procurement of Dairy commodities
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple commodities, trading physical commodities and by-products, communicating with farmers, hedging with derivatives (options and futures), trading relative value, statistical arbitrage and calendar spreads
- Proven experience in forecasting demand and supply inventories and usage, storage
- Product expertise in major currencies AUD/NZ/USD/EUR commodity relative value spreads execution.
- Previous experience in pricing physical markets using relative value to offshore markets and currency adjusted prices
