Your new company
This State Government Department is looking for an AS05 Communications Advisor to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract. You will be working on a range of communications projects that support the department's strategic objectives and priorities.
Your new role
Furthermore, you will liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate messaging and branding. Moreover, you will provide communications advice and support to senior management and staff on best practices and emerging trends. Lastly, you will evaluate and report on the impact and outcomes of communications activities using relevant metrics and feedback, monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes of communications activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar communications role within the public sector or a complex organisation
- Proven ability to plan and deliver strategic communications campaigns that achieve results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels
- Sound digital skills, including experience in managing websites and social media platforms
- A valid National Police Clearance (NPC) or the ability to obtain one
- Availability to commence immediately for the duration of the contract
