Communications Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to join one of our government client for an immediate start - 12 months assignment.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide communications advice and services to engage internal and external audiences with the organisation objectives
• Produce high-quality and effective content for placement across all channels, to achieve business objectives
• Foster productive relationships to identify issues and opportunities
• Contribute to achieving a high performing team and delivering on team outcomes

Experience Required

We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualification / experience
• Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong background in communication/journalism who has strong writing skills
• Background in government is desirable
• Demonstrated experience delivering communications advice and services in a large complex environment
• Able to multitask - adaptive and flexible
• High-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce effective content
• Experience using Adobe Creative suite
