THE OPPORTUNITY -
Are you a talented communicator with a flair for copywriting? We are looking for a hands-on Communications Advisor to help us foster team member engagement and amplify our brand.
Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing and Communications, your primary responsibility will be to plan, write and edit engaging content that shines a light on our business, our people and our achievements.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thinks positively, generates creative ideas and is comfortable engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders to produce compelling content and collateral. Exceptional writing skills are a must.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage content calendar to ensure a pipeline of communication activity.
- Plan, write and edit engaging communication outputs to support internal and external campaigns and projects, inc. intranet copy, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations case studies, website content and more.
- Organise team events including webinars, town halls and roadshows.
- Support communication requests from key stakeholders updating policies and procedures and creating well-structured on-brand presentation decks as required.
- Create communication assets including social media tiles, infographics, animations and video.
- Develop communication plans and outputs for new partner onboarding.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing or related discipline
- 4+ years’ experience in communications or content creation role.
- Excellent copywriting skills essential.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with a focus on Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience using, or comfort in learning, tools and technology for eDM delivery, social media management and website maintenance.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign, Canva and basic video editing tools highly regarded.
