External Communications Advisor

• Part time (0.6 FTE) fixed term position until Tuesday 6 May 2025
• Salary range $93,237 to $101,627 + 11% superannuation (pro rata)
• Primarily based at Manningham's Civic Centre, Doncaster

The role will be responsible for delivering our bi-monthly community magazine, , which delivers news and information directly to letterboxes.Manningham Council proudly delivers over 100 different services to our vibrant and diverse community. They work closely with our in-house designer and in an editorial capacity with the writer of our monthly online newsletter.Skills and Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations.
• Demonstrated experience and ability in preparing effective written communications for a various stakeholders.
• Track record in managing publications - delivering on deadline and achieving the desired outcomes.
• Ability to liaise with and collaborate effectively with all levels of management, staff and stakeholders (internal and external) and solve specialist problems.
