About the role

The Communications and Community Engagement Officer is required to manage DonateLife South Australia’s media, communication and Community awareness activities as part of the national DonateLife Communications and Engagement (DLC) team and to meet the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) objectives. The role comprises a 70% local, 30% national split of communication and Community Engagement responsibilities, as well as providing assistance with administrative tasks within DonateLife SA.

The Communications and Community Engagement Officer will develop and implement local components along with developing and implementing national projects and initiatives as outlined in the national DonateLife Communication and Engagement Strategy.

In addition, the Communications and Community Engagement Officer will provide administration support functions to DonateLife SA under the direction of the Admin Manager.

Essential Requirements:

• Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
• Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
