The Opportunity
Due to growth, we are seeking a strategic Communications & Engagement Manager to develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) in this newly created position, taking our company branding to the next level.
Reporting to the Head Of People, Culture & Communications, you will play a vital role in keeping our employees informed, motivated and engaged. You will also be responsible for taking CPP’s branding to the next level by showcasing our world class organisation through various external communication channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Internal and External Communications Strategies.
- Utilise a diverse range of communication channels to effectively engage both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
- Ensure timely dissemination of important information to employees, fostering a culture of transparency and alignment.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and recognition programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.
- Manage external communication channels such as social media, press releases, and corporate announcements to enhance CPP's brand reputation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary Qualification in either Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
- 8+ years experience in a multi-disciplined organisation at a senior level, preferably within either Construction, Utility, Energy or Mining
- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies in a corporate setting.
- Ability to design and deliver multi-channel communications campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.
