We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as the Administrative Assistant for our Ramsay Consulting Suites situated in the Madsen Medical Centre in Hervey Bay with a goal to deliver excellence in customer service.
This permanent part-time role will see you providing effective and efficient support to our Visiting Medical Officers.
About the Role
Working at our Hervey Bay site, but under the management of the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, this position will play a vital role in the administration support and promotion of the consulting suites and Visiting Medical Officers.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Visiting Medical Officers and their patients
- Local promotion of the Visiting Medical Officers within the Hervey Bay community (under the direction of and with full support of the GP Liaison Officer)
- Potential for the role to expand to include remote support of the Ramsay Sunshine Coast network of Hospitals
- Be highly committed to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors, and doctors
- Experience in a Medical Reception environment
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- Demonstrated proficiency in Patient Management/Practice Management systems
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to use a range of software systems
- Experience working in health services and/or using hospital mainframe systems (e.g., Meditech) is desirable but not essential
About the Organisation
The Ramsay Consulting Suites are situated in the Madsen Medical Centre in Hervey Bay and provide a sessional base for visiting specialists from the Ramsay Sunshine Coast network of Hospitals. We currently have a number of consultants visiting these rooms with a view to expand our offerings and further develop the service. This is a great opportunity for a highly flexible administrator to work with our Consultants to promote a large hospital network. Whilst there is a high amount of autonomy in this role you will be linked in remotely under the management of the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital with resources to support.
