About This Opportunity The Communications, Training and Engagement Coordinator will lead the communication and Engagement activities in order to raise QUBIC’s national profile. The Communications, Training and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that will raise awareness of the Centre, our research capabilities and expertise, and the value of quantum technologies to the broader community.
An important component of this national role is to promote the activities of all five university partners. The Communications, Training and Engagement Coordinator will seek out and write stories based on interviews with researchers and students and disseminate them through a variety of communication channels. They will write, edit and produce key corporate publications including our Annual Report, and produce videos and other digital assets for publication and distribution.
The Communications, Training and Engagement Coordinator will provide leadership and management to QUBIC committees associated with the portfolio and provide significant input into the variety of ways the Centre interacts with the public to engage them in quantum biotechnology. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. ?Key responsibilities include:?
Communication Develop an understanding of QUBIC’s research activities and strategic objectives to ensure appropriate development of an annual communication and Engagement strategy for the Centre.
