About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Communities and Social Performance Advisor to join Rio Tinto. This role is based in Perth, on a Monday to Friday roster for an initial 4-6 month duration.

Role Purpose:

• Take ownership of the implementation framework as developed to date and assist the business to prepare to meet our obligations when the agreements are finalised 
• Work across Winu CSP Agreements team to support the delivery of the implementation framework (negotiation outcomes/themes/discussions)
• Project management of the Implementation framework functional workstreams – ability to work across multiple functions and understand legal commitments/obligations
• Strong planning skills, attention to detail
• Legal background or strong experience in agreement interpretation/implementation and drafting
• Work with RT Legal and Ashurst on the Management Plan Framework
• Support development/drafting of management plans (with Project SMEs) as part of the Winu Project agreement negotiations
• Able to navigate the intersectional of legal drafting and operational drafting for the management plans 

Skills & Experience Required:

• Communities and Social Performance and native title knowledge
• Legal background or para legal
• High attention to detail
• C Class Drivers Licence
• Dedicated to ensuring the safety of both yourself and your team
• Well-developed people influencing, engagement and communication skills
