GOLD Educational Tours is one of Australia’s leading educational tourism and homestay management companies. We work with thousands of Australian families and over 60 schools in WA to create cultural immersion programs for Japanese primary and high school students.
About the role
As a Homestay and Community Engagement Coordinator, you will help ensure a deep and meaningful cross-cultural exchange between Japanese students and the Aussie families who will be hosting them.
You’ll onboard families and use your strong organisational skills to help us plan and organise all aspects of the homestay experience.
You’ll provide support and assistance throughout the program to facilitate a seamless experience that enables a deep and meaningful connection between the student and host family.

What we’re looking for
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong admin, organisational and project management skills
Ability to become proficient with new computer programs
A demonstrated passion for Japanese culture and cross-cultural experiences
Proficiency with social media and digital communication
Current Australian driver’s licence
Personal attributes
Warm, welcoming, and friendly disposition
Highly motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent personal and professional presentation.
